Our greatest priority is to promote the value of the staffing industry, specifically our members, to legislators, policymakers, healthcare administrators and the public.  To accomplish this, NHSA works from several different perspectives:

Look to this site for information, for suggestions on how you can participate in the legislative or advocacy processes, for updates of the current issues identified as critical to the industry and for an opportunity to provide feedback or new information to us.

Currently, NHSA is working on the following advocacy issues:
•Image of Supplemental Agencies in the Healthcare arena
•Issues involving Independent Contractors (or 1099 employees)
•Issues as they relate to VMS systems and their impact on the supplemental staffing segment of the healthcare staffing industry.
